North Carolina Botanical Garden – Sustainability Case Study from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

This botanical garden’s Education Center is the first publicly-owned LEED Platinum building in North Carolina. By integrating sustainability with building performance and outdoor spaces, they are working to advance a sustainable relationship between people and nature. The use of highly insulated thermal envelope is just one of the ways they have been able to reach energy efficiency.
