Energy Star has collected tools and resources to assist in the calculation of returns on energy efficiency investments and help find rebates, incentives and financing services for energy projects.
Epsten Group, a design firm located in Atlanta sought to transform a 1940s hardware shop into a building with high-performance energy expectations, occupant comfort, and indoor air quality. Energy efficiency has earned them an Energy Star score of 92. More than 97% of The Edge’s existing building shell was reused, greatly reducing the total environmental impact and the amount of new materials needed.

Houston Rockets and Toyota Center have been showcasing environmental initiatives, striving to engage their fans and their community towards environmentally responsible behavioral changes. With the numerous energy efficiency improvements, the arena has gained Energy Star recognition and has achieved reduction of energy use by 27 percent since 2013.
